Here are some suggestions on how you can fix it:

1) Restart Apple TV

Do any of the following:

  • Press and hold both the Back Back button (second-generation Siri Remote) or Menu button (first-generation Siri Remote) and TV TV button buttons on the Siri Remote until the Apple TV status light blinks rapidly.

  • Disconnect Apple TV from the power outlet, wait five seconds, then reconnect it.

  • Open Settings Settings on Apple TV, go to System and select Restart.

2) Update Apple TV

4K or Apple TV HD

  1. Go to Settings > System > Software Updates and select Update Software.
  2. If there's an update, select Download and Install.
  3. Wait for your Apple TV to download the update. Don't disconnect or unplug your Apple TV until the update completes.

3rd generation Apple TV

  1. Go to Settings > General > Software Updates and select Update Software.
  2. If there's an update, download and install it.
  3. Wait for your Apple TV to download the update. Don't disconnect or unplug your Apple TV until the update completes.

After the update downloads, your Apple TV will restart, prepare the update, and install it. When the update is complete, your Apple TV will automatically restart again.

3) Reinstall The Chosen App on your Apple TV

You can delete the Angel Studios app on your Apple TV and then install it again to see if it can solve the problem. Here’s how:

  • Press and hold the center button on your touchpad, and you’ll see The Chosen start shaking
  • Now press the play button
  • Choose ‘Delete’
  • Now go to the App Store, search for The Chosen and reinstall it
