When you update Roku, your device gets the latest features and improvements released for your device. 

Roku automatically updates when there is a new update, but sometimes you need to manually update your device. 

To update your Roku device:

1. Turn on your Roku device and make sure it’s connected to WiFi.
2. Scroll and select Settings, then System.
   
3. Select System update.
   
4. Select Check Now to manually check for updates.
   
5. If new software is available or there are updates for your channels, your Roku device downloads and installs them. 
6. After the updates are installed, your Roku device reboots.

Now your Roku device is updated.
